Admissions Requirements for Prospective Students

General Requirements

  • Applicants are required to have a Canadian high school diploma or equivalent

  • Degree/Diploma in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, commerce, management engineering, statistics, or a related field;  

  • DataWiz College also uses the Wonderlic assessment as part of the admissions process. 

    Certain programs may have additional or specific requirements. Please check with one of our Admissions Advisors.

Admission Process

Step 1: Speak with one of our Student Admissions Advisor

Join an information session—by phone, Zoom, or in person—with one of our Student Admissions Advisors. During this session, you’ll discuss your background, interests, and strengths to help determine the most suitable diploma program. We’ll also go over program schedules and entry requirements.

Step 2: Meet with a Financial Aid Administrator

A Financial Aid Administrator will explain your funding options. Whether it's student loans or payment plans, we’re here to support you. You can book a financial aid appointment at any time.

Step 3: Complete Your Registration

Once you’ve chosen a program and explored your funding options, your Student Admissions Advisor will help you complete the registration process.

Step 4: Attend Orientation

New Student Orientation is held the week before your classes begin. You'll receive an email with the date and time. During orientation, you’ll meet instructors and key staff, explore the student portal and learning tools, and review the Student Handbook. Orientation lasts about one hours.

Step 5: Start Your Classes

Your first day kicks off with an onboarding session where we’ll set up your online accounts, email, and platform access. Once you're set up, your learning experience officially begins!
